The theme for the 2018/2019 school year is “Your Art, Your Story”
The DAEA invites members to submit their students' Youth Art Month flag designs! Each year the Council for Art Education coordinates Youth Art Month activities at the national level. Their primary event is the State Flag Program. Using a national theme, each state coordinates a flag design contest. The winning design is made into a flag for display in the Youth Art Month Museum at the National Art Education Association (NAEA) annual National Convention.
The DAEA encourages members to submit student designs that celebrate this year's theme, "Your Art, Your Story." The deadline for submissions is Friday, December 21, 2018. Entries should be addressed to: Cary Fentzloff Ioli, Olive B. Loss Elementary, 200 Brennan Blvd., Bear, DE 19701 Questions? Contact: Cary Fentzloff Ioli, YAM Flag Chair at firstname.lastname@example.org
